MK Stalin has on Sunday issued crucial orders to the district collectors to enforce the lockdown tightly and strengthen the containment measures at their respective districts during the period of the complete lockdown.
The relatives who were on board the flight had cleared the RT-PCR test before boarding as per the protocol and after marrying above the clouds, the couple had hosted a small reception at a hotel in the city.
Along with permitting the shops to function, the state government has also allowed the movements of public and private buses across the state on Saturday and Sunday.
During the meeting with the representatives of the political parties and health experts, the Chief Minister had expressed his displeasure over the violations of the government guidelines and restrictions in the state.
The current tenure of the lockdown comes to an end by May 24 and Chief Minister MK Stalin will be convening the meeting with a top committee that was formed recently.
His criticism has come when the state government inches close to convene a meet with the authorities and experts on whether the lockdown must be extended after May 24.
By issuing the ban on the TASMAC outlets across the state during the tenure of the lockdown, the government has asserted that the Amma Canteens will be functioning.
