As Karthi awaits the release of Viruman, his fans have got a big update on who will be directing the actor in his next project after Viruman. Popular filmmaker Raju Murugan, who is known for the movies 'Cuckoo', 'Joker', and 'Gypsy', is going to direct Karthi in the next movie. The director spilled the beans in the Viruman press meet and the announcement is doing rounds on social media. 

Viruman has been slated for a theatrical release on August 12. Raju Murugan has penned lyrics for three songs in Viruman and addressing the press meet for the promotion of the film, Raju Murugan confirmed his next project with Karthi which will be based on a pressing issue in Tamil Nadu. 

He said that it's always a pleasure to work with Karthi as he is as enthused as a fully energized battery. He said that collaborating with him will assist him to learn more. Reports say that the project is likely to go on the floor by October, and will also feature Vijay Sethupathi in an important role. 

In this movie, the Muttiah-Karthi coalition is working together once again. Karthi and Aditi Shankar are part of the film team and are always active in promotions. This movie's recent launch event for the trailer and song took place in Madurai. The fans were impressed with the pictures and videos which were brought to social media.
