A case has been registered against SI Chandrasekar and Constable Kumar under section 174(3) of the CrPC and these two police officers have been suspended. 

Some of the voices had compared the police brutality behind the death of Jayaraj and Fenix to what the United States witnessed through the death of George Floyd, who was suppressed and killed by the police officer.

The state has been witnessing a massive outrage in the wake of the custodial death that has been dubbed as police brutality.
