The CBI said that it had investigated over 45 people and it was found that the father and son were booked under false grounds and it couldn't have happened without the knowledge of Sridhar.
The family moved the official complaint to Thoothukudi district collector Sandeep Nanduri. The collector had issued a directive to the district revenue officer to probe the matter.
