The movie would revolve around a single mother who starts noticing eerie changes in the behavior of her daughter, gets virtual help of a pastor who proposes a virtual exorcism.

"There shouldn't be any change. I don't think there is anything that has to be changed," she stated.

The film Connect is slated to hit the theaters on the 22nd of December, and the makers have confirmed that there is no intermission for this 99-minute film.

The trailer's first few minutes fixate on the genuine love shared by what appear to be Nayanthara and Vinay as a married couple and their teenage daughter, before pulling to a horrific sphere that covers their family during lockdown.

Nayanthara's reteaming with director Ashwin Saravanan marks the duo's second project together. They had previously collaborated on the horror film Maya.

While Nayanthara plays the lead role as the single mother, Sathyaraj, Anupam Kher, Vinay Rai, and Haniya Nafis will play crucial roles.
