Fresh Trouble for Nayanthara's Connect: Theater owners are not happy with 'No Interval' screening...

Connect, starring Nayanthara, is bringing a new kind of terror to the big screen, so there's been a steady increase in anticipating the release.  In spite of the positive responses to the film's trailer and first look from audiences everywhere, the filmmakers have to deal a fresh trouble with the theatre owners.

Produced by Vignesh Shivan under Rowdy Pictures, 'Connect' is directed by Ashwin Saravanan, who is popularly known for his directorials - Maya, and Game Over. The film Connect is slated to hit the theaters on the 22nd of December, and the makers have confirmed that there is no intermission for this 99-minute film.

It seems that the theatre industry is strongly against the release of Connect. Without a 99-minute break, they say interval business in cinema halls will plummet if there isn't a gap between movies. Theatre owners are upset about this, and hence it has been speculations are rising about whether or not the movie Connect will be released on an earlier officiated date.

The film is produced by Rowdy Pictures of Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara. The story revolves around Nayanthara and Vinay, a married couple with a teenage daughter, as they pull their family into a terrifying world that surrounds them during a lockdown. Anupam Kher, a legendary actor in Bollywood, plays an exorcist who aids the Nayanthara family in driving the devil from their residence. The rest of the movie deals with Nayanthara's role as a mother, whether or not she protected her daughter.

Prithvi Chandrasekhar composed this film's musical score. Manikandan Krishnamachari directed the cinematography. The thrilling horror drama also features veteran actors Sathyaraj, and Haniya Nafisa in crucial roles. The makers have also confirmed the release of the film in Hindi on 30th December 2022, a week after the Tamil version’s release
