Connect, the Ladysuperstar's newest film, was released in theatres last Friday on 30th December in Hindi belt and getting favorable response. Amid the release, she discussed her favourite Bollywood movies in an interview for a promotional feature which is currently trending on internet.The Bollywood film Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, features Nayanthara in her first starring role. Jawan is also director Atlee Kumar's first film in Hindi. In June, it will debut in theatres nationwide.
The recent virtual interview from PTI to her and Vignesh Shivan's banner Rowdy Pictures, where Nayanthara talk more of about her first Hindi debut, her film journey and her Bollywood favorites. She said, "I think I must’ve watched all Hindi films. Name any Hindi film, I would’ve watched it. My all-time favourites would be Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhi Kushi Kabhie Gham,"
"There are so many films I’ve wanted to watch during a specific time. There are times when you’re low, then you want to watch different films. Irrespective of how I’m feeling, I always like watching Kuch Kuch Hota Hai." she added.
She also opened up on her 20 years journey on the film industry, as she mentioned, ", "whatever mistakes, good phases, and bad phases, it's all nice now. It's all learning in life. Surviving so long in the field is not so easy but audiences and everyone have been kind to me. I feel very blessed."
On her Hindi debut, she said, "It is just that I didn’t get the opportunity to do a full-fledged Hindi film or a proper dubbed Hindi film. Also, the situations were quite different earlier. Today, it has changed and we have to move according to the situation," she added."
Bollywood veteran actor Anupam Kher played a crucial part in Connect which helmed by Ashwin Saravanan, which released in Tamil on 22nd December 2022. The actress is to next to seen probably on Atlee's Jawan and she also said to be play along with Jayam Ravi in Iraivan, and rumored to be play in Vignesh Shivan's next AK62 starring Ajith Kumar in the lead. The two were already gave blockbusters with Billa, Aegan, Aarambham.
