BJP has lost its reign in Himachal Pradesh in a race that was down to the wire. The BJP's rule was ousted by the Congress through which the latter had a big breather and boost after enduring back-to-back electoral debacles.

While the exit polls have predicted a hung assembly in the state, the current trend suggests that Congress could possibly oust the BJP reign. 

While the BJP holds the edge in parallel race between the two parties in Gujarat, the track is rigid in Himachal Pradesh that neither of the parties are showing a good majority.

Congress has got yet another sign and prospect to take the damage-control measures as the party will head into a handful of assembly elections in 2023 under the leadership of Kharge.

The reports say that these chants have come from the BJP supporters who gathered during Rahul Gandhi's last leg of tour in Madhya Pradesh. 

The national rivals BJP and Congress had piping hot field days during the campaign trials in the Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh assembly polls as both the parties locked horns to end the year with a big electoral success.

Started this September from Tamil Nadu, this Rahul Gandhi-led national rally is nearing its 100th day and on Sunday, the rally entered the Congress ruling state of Rajasthan.

Gujarat is heading for the polls on December 1 and 5 for its 182 seats. The votes will be counted and the results will be declared on December 8.
