Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is on an unprecedented mission through his nationwide rally that began this September. He is nearing to cross the 100th day of the rally - Bharat Jodo Yatra and currently, he is touring the Congress ruling state of Rajasthan after covering 380 kilometers in the BJP-ruling Madhya Pradesh. Earlier this Sunday, his rally entered Rajasthan and welcomed by a sea of people.
In every leg of his tour, Rahul Gandhi is drawing nationwide attention and a slew of peculiar events around his yatra has been the talk of the nation and going viral on social media. One such event is doing rounds as it shows that the 'Modi, Modi' chant is going aloud amidst his rally. The visuals of the event made headlines so was Rahul Gandhi's reactions to such chants.
Before his yatra entered Rajasthan, Rahul Gandhi crossed the Agar Malwa district of Madhya Pradesh and on his path, he was greeted by the people who chanted and hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The reports say that these chants have come from the BJP supporters who gathered during Rahul Gandhi's last leg of tour in Madhya Pradesh.
A video that surfaced on social media shows that the people are chanting 'Modi, Modi' and Rahul Gandhi's reaction to such chants has been going viral. After hearing the chants, Rahul Gandhi was seen giving flying kisses to them. He was also seen waving hands at the people who raised slogans praising Modi. After he reached Rajasthan, the Congress leader, along with senior leaders, held a dance show as he danced with a tribal dancers.
Rahul Gandhi said that the Bharat Jodo Yatra is teaching him things that he cannot be learnt while travelling in an airplane, a helicopter or any vehicle. The Congress leader addressed the gathering in Jhalawar, Rajasthan during which he said he has no hatred in his heart towards the BJP and the RSS, but he will not let them spread hatred in the country. He said, "It is only after shaking hands with farmers that one understands what they are doing. This cannot be learnt from a helicopter."
Slamming the BJP regime at the centre for benefitting a handful of industrialists which he termed as against the interest of the country, Rahul Gandhi stated, "One who does not have fear, will not have hatred. This is what every religion teaches. I want to remove this fear, the fear that BJP has instilled in the hearts of farmers, in traders, and the youth of unemployment." Rahul Gandhi's yatra spent 12 days in Madhya Pradesh, covering 380 kilometers before entering Rajasthan. In Rajasthan, Rahul Gandhi will have an extensive tour for over two weeks.
As per his itinerary, the yatra will be covering a distance of 500 kilometers in Rajasthan - covering Jhalawar, Kota, Bundi, Sawai Madhopur, Dausa, and Alwar districts in 17 days before entering Haryana on December 21. The Congress leader launched his Yatra on September 7, 2022, with the main objective to fight against the politics of fear, bigotry, and prejudice. It was started from Kanyakumari and he will end it in Jammu & Kashmir, covering 3,570 kilometers by walk in 150 days.
