Word on the street is that Ajith Kumar's highly anticipated film Vidaa Muyarchi may be facing production woes, leaving fans wondering what the future holds for the project.  Only time will tell, but one thing's for sure: the excitement surrounding this film is palpable, and fans are eagerly awaiting any updates on its progress.

There has yet to be any official confirmation regarding this news; however, another report has surfaced indicating that the movie is indeed still on track and that pre-production is advancing without any issues. The film had earlier misfortunate end with Vignesh Shivan, as it was announced initially with the director, but later the house confirmed the project with Magizh Thirumeni, who lastly helmed KalagaThalaivan, and known for Thadam.

Vidaa Muyarchi, which means determination in Tamil, is the 62nd film of Ajith Kumar. The film was officially announced on Ajith’s 52nd birthday on May 1, 2023, with a title poster that had the tagline 'Efforts Never Fail’. The poster showed the title written over a circular maze that swirls into a vortex, creating a sense of mystery and intrigue.

The film has announced with talented crew, as music will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Nirav Shah, who have both worked with Ajith in his previous films like Vedalam, Vivegam and Thunivu. The cast and crew details of the film are yet to be revealed by the makers. According to some sources, the shooting of the film is scheduled to commence in the second week of September, and will be completed in a single schedule. The film is expected to hit the screens in early 2024.

Ajith Kumar, who is one of the most popular and bankable stars in Tamil cinema, has a huge fan following across the country. His last film Thunivu, which was released in January 2023,  directed by H Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor. The film also starred Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani and John Kokken in pivotal roles. However, the film received mixed reviews from the critics and even though performed well at the box office.

Vidaa Muyarchi is a crucial film for Ajith as he hopes to bounce back from Thunivu and deliver a blockbuster hit for his fans. The film also marks his first collaboration with Magizh Thirumeni, who is regarded as one of the most promising directors in Tamil cinema. The fans are eagerly waiting for more updates on the film and are hoping that the rumor of its cancellation is false.
