Leo: TN Theatres release in Chennai and Chengalpet hangs in balance...

Leo, the most awaited action thriller of the year, starring Vijay is all set to hit the screens tomorrow. The film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Seven Screen Studio, has been creating a huge buzz among fans and critics alike.

Leo promises to be a spectacular spectacle with high-octane stunts, a gripping plot, and stunning visuals. The film is expected to be released across 25,000 to 30,000 screens worldwide in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu languages.

However, not everything is smooth sailing for Leo. The film has faced some hurdles in its release in the Chennai and Chengalpet regions of Tamil Nadu, where some of the big movie chains are reluctant to screen the movie. The reason behind this is a disagreement between the theatre owners and the distributors.

As a result, some of the popular theatres like Rohini Silver Screens in Koyambedu, Vettri, Kamala, and others have not confirmed their bookings for Leo. Rohini Silver Screens, the ultimate destination for Vijay’s die-hard fans, shocked everyone by placing a notice board outside the venue, that they are not screening Leo.

This has caused a lot of disappointment and anxiety among the fans of Vijay, who have been eagerly waiting for Leo’s release.  However, there is still hope for Leo’s fans. Sources reveal that the producers of Leo and the cinema owners are negotiating to resolve their conflicts and reach common ground by this evening.

If everything goes well, Leo will be screened in all the theatres as planned and will have a grand opening tomorrow. The fans are keeping their fingers crossed and praying for a positive outcome. Leo is one of the most anticipated films of 2023 and has a stellar cast and crew.

Apart from Vija, the film also features Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, Arjun, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Priya Anand, and others in pivotal roles. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the cinematography is done by Manoj Paramahamsa, and the editing is handled by Philomin Raj. The film has already generated a lot of hype with its teaser, trailer, songs, and posters. The film is expected to break many box office records and set new benchmarks for Indian cinema.
