Leo: Makers drop the soulful third single Anbenum Aayudham from the Lokesh Kanagaraj - Vijay's actioner!

The makers of ‘Leo’ have dropped a new song from their upcoming action thriller, and it is a treat for the fans of Vijay and Trisha. The song, titled ‘Anbenum Aayudham’, is a soulful duet that showcases the family bonding between the lead pair on screen, who have reunited on screen after a long gap.

Seven Screen Studio, backing the film, shared the lyric video on Wednesday eve, writing, "Notification: New addition to your playlist  #LeoThirdSingle is out now!".The song is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who has delivered a breezy and soulful tune that matches the scenic visuals of Kashmir. The song sung by Anirudh Ravichander and Lothika, and the lyrics are penned by Vishnu Edavan, who has also written the other songs in the album.

The song gives a glimpse of the happy and peaceful life of Vijay’s character, Leo, who is a family man with a loving wife and two kids. Going by trailer, the main protagonist played by Vijay has a strong family sentiment, as he gets disturbed and turns violent when unknown or known enemies disturb his family.

The trailer of the movie has already revealed that Leo is a former soldier who has to fight back against a powerful villain, played by Sanjay Dutt. The movie also features an ensemble cast of Arjun, Priya Anand, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Matthew Thomas, and Sandy. The movie also has a cameo appearance by Anurag Kashyap, who plays a pivotal role in the plot.

‘Leo’ is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who has previously helmed critically acclaimed movies like ‘Kaithi’ and ‘Master’. The movie is produced by Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studios. The movie has been shot in various locations across India and abroad, with cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing by Philomin Raj.

The movie has already released two songs - ‘Naa Ready’ and ‘Badass’ - which have received positive responses from the audience. The movie has two more songs to be released - ‘I’m scared’, and ‘Villain Yaruda’. ‘Leo’ is slated to release on 19th October, coinciding with the festive season of Diwali. The movie is expected to be a blockbuster hit at the box office, as Vijay’s fans are eagerly waiting to see him in action.
