Lokesh Kanagaraj, the mastermind behind the LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe), has announced his latest venture: G Squad, a film production banner that aims to showcase the talent and vision of his friends and assistants. The Leo director took to X to share the news with his fans and followers on Monday.

Lokesh, who has directed five films so far, including the blockbuster said that he was delighted to launch G Squad as a platform for redefining the landscape of storytelling and entertainment. He took to X and released an official statement which read, "After directing 5 films, I am delighted to announce the launch of my production venture - G Squad, dedicated towards redefining the landscape of storytelling and entertainment,"

"The first few productions will feature the work of my close friends and assistants to encourage and promote their creative ideas. I sincerely wish that you all watch, enjoy, and shower the same support that you all have given me so far. Keep calm and wait for the update of our first production venture. He expressed his hope that his fans will watch, enjoy, and shower the same support that they have given him so far," he added.

The director also unveiled  the G Squad logo. This stunning logo boasts a scorpion, a recurring motif in the LCU, and is sure to leave a lasting impression for fans. Lokesh Kanagaraj is one of the most acclaimed and successful directors in Tamil cinema today.

He is known for his innovative and genre-bending films such as Maanagaram, Kaithi, Master, Vikram, and Leo. He is currently scripting for his next film, Thalaivar 171, which will star the Superstar Rajinikanth along with surprising cast.
