In a recent interaction with the fans on Twitter Spaces, the producer of Leo, SS Lalit Kumar, revealed some interesting details about the film and cleared some rumours.
The producer has shared some exciting updates that are sure to delight fans. He has mentioned that the trailer of the movie has left a great impression on Vijay, who has praised the director for his work. The producer has also reassured fans that there is no rift between Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj and that they share a great rapport.
The producer has also shared some interesting anecdotes from the shooting of the film, especially the challenging Kashmir schedule. Despite the harsh weather conditions, he said that they shot in -22 degrees Celsius for 51 days and the entire team worked hard to deliver their best. The producer has also mentioned that every scene in Leo will showcase Vijay’s extraordinary acting skills and charisma.
In terms of the release plans, the producer has stated that Leo will not be screened in national multiplexes in North India, but will be released in over 2,000 single-screen theatres. They have even requested the state government for 4 am shows on October 19 and hope to get permission. The film will have a massive worldwide release in 25,000 to 30,000 screens, and it will be the first Tamil movie to be released in Bangladesh.
The producer believes that Leo, a family entertainer, will appeal to all kinds of audiences. He said the only issue was with the censor certificate, which took a week longer than expected. Kumar also praised Anirudh Ravichander for his music and said that he is working on the background score for the second half of the film. He said that all post-production work would finish all the remaining work by October 10. He also announced that the third single from the album, a family-oriented song, will be released on Monday.
