Kollywood is buzzing with excitement as the next update for "Leo" draws near. Starring the charismatic Thalapathy Vijay, this film boasts an incredible ensemble cast that includes Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Priya Anand, Mysskin, and Gautham Vasudev Menon, and is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is also one of the film's producers. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on October 19, 2023.

Before that, however, fans have something to look forward to because Leo producer Lalit Kumar has dropped some sizzling news about the upcoming audio launch event for the film. Lalit Kumar announced at a recent awards ceremony that the audio launch of Leo would not take place in Chennai as usual but rather in a different city in front of a huge audience. He also promised that the event would be a spectacular event filled with A-listers and surprises.

Lalit Kumar had earlier confirmed that the next big update of Leo will be on June 22, which happens to be Vijay’s birthday. The fans eagerly await the update, which could be a teaser, a poster or a song from the film. The title announcement video of Leo, which was released on February 3, had set the internet on fire with its fiery visuals and catchy music by Anirudh Ravichander.

The shooting of Leo is going on at a brisk pace in Chennai and Hyderabad. The team had recently wrapped up a long schedule in Kashmir, where they shot some crucial scenes involving Vijay and Sanjay Dutt. The film is said to be 50% complete and is expected to finish by May.

Leo marks the second collaboration of Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj after their blockbuster Master (2021). The film is being made on a budget of Rs 250-300 crore and is being planned as a pan-Indian release in multiple languages. Vijay reportedly agreed to make Leo a pan-Indian film after being convinced by the producers to make it bigger and reach a wider audience.
