As promised, the much-anticipated title and promo video of Thalapathy67 were released on Friday, February 3rd. The first new promo released just as the audience was getting ready to ring in for the hot update. Hence the exciting, spotlight-stealing news that Lokesh Kanagaraj's film Thalapathy67 has been granted a formal title ' Leo '. This film marks the second collaboration for the actor with Lokesh Kanagaraj after Master. 

Vijay admirers have been using the hashtag #Thalapathy67 to track the development of the film and to demand updates on its status since its beginnings. Since the announcement, pictures of the legendary actor have gone viral on social media almost daily, and intrigue in the endeavor has remained high. After releasing the cast and crew deets for past few days, the next in the line comes as the most waited red hot update.

Releasing the announcement video, Seven Screen Studios who banking the feature took to Twitter and wrote, "We are as excited as you are, with all your support & love we are happy to present you the title of #Thalapathy67 - Team #LEO #BLOODYSWEET WW From OCT19" The promo video follows the same formula as the director's last film, Vikram, and has Vijay in a private cottage house, prepping a feast for some mysterious visitors.

However, instead of the traditional Ulaganayagan's Biriyani in Vikram, the actor has opted to serve chocolate baked goods. As looks goes by, the actor seemingly have two faces , one for sweet and for Blood in another. The video ended with the beast actor is getting ready for his assignment when the visitor enters, declaring, "Bloody Sweet," and the title card opens with the word "Leo" in a coin chocolate logo.

It has not yet been determined if this video stands on its own or whether it is part of the Lokesh CInematic Universe. By the announcement, they also revealed the film's release date as October 19th 2023. Earlier in the day, the team also shared a enticing video of the whole crew flies to Kashmir where the video featured some moments they shared in the flight.

While Thalapathy Vijay leads the film, Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, Priya Anand, Arjun, Mansoor Ali Khan plays pivotal roles. The buzz also have its share on the cast Vikram, and cameos of Suriya as Rolex, Kamal Hassan as Vikram may appear. Aniruth has been roped for composing the musical score. Manoj Paramahamsa handle the camera, Philomin Raj handles the editing. Netflix bought the streaming rights while Sun TV bought the satellite rights.
