The Congress leader will be embarking on a journey of walking to the west from the east in January 2024, three months ahead of the general elections. 

On Saturday, senior Congress MP Santokh Singh Chaudhary has passed away at the age of 76 due to heart attack while he was taking part in Bharat Jodo Yatra in Punjab.

Following his demise, the yatra was suspended for the day as the Congress leaders and functionaries pay tribute to the deceased and expressing condolences to the bereaving family.

Congress cadre Faisal Chowdhury has drawn sharp attention from across the country for being a lookalike of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

The march has given a rousing welcome to legendary actor Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan on Saturday - December 24 as it has successfully entered Delhi.  

Rahul Gandhi's decision to invite Kamal Haasan has drawn a great deal of attention across the country as he nears a key stopover of his march. 

Joined by senior leaders, several celebrities and a sea of people, the Congress leader have had a rigid leg of tours covering several states since September. 

The reports say that these chants have come from the BJP supporters who gathered during Rahul Gandhi's last leg of tour in Madhya Pradesh.
