When 'Master' meets student... Thalapathy Vijay's pic goes viral!

Happiness and excitement would be filled in the venue when the growing actor meets the towering legend and actor Kalidas Jayaram had such an atmosphere and venue recently after he enjoyed a true moment of a fanboy by meeting his favorite actor Thalapathy Vijay. 

Relishing the meet, Kalidas has on Saturday expressed how excited he was when he met Vijay. Taking to Twitter, Kalidas posted a picture of him with Vijay and wrote, "Just when you thought things couldn't get any better, Master meets student. Thank you, Vijay sir for taking the time and effort, means a lot". 

Soon after he shared the post, Thalapathy's picture has been going viral as his fans are rampantly spreading the picture across social media. Kalidas has been earning a massive reputation through his splendid acting in the recently released Tamil anthology 'Paava Kadhaigal'. He acted in 'Thangam', which is one of the anthologies, directed by Sudha Kongara. Kalidas had shared the screen space with Shanthanu Bhagyaraj. 

Paava Kadhaigal was Kalidas's second unification with Sudha Kongara as they both had already collaborated for the anthology 'Putham Pudhu Kaalai' that was released on Amazon Prime. Paava Kadhaigal was recently released on Netflix and it has got a remarkable reception across and beyond the borders. In Paava Kadhaigal, Kalidas had played the role of a transgender person named Sathar and he was widely commended for his brave acting.

Kalidas has acted with his father Jayaram before as a child artist and he had won a National Award for Ente Veedu Appuvinteyum in 2003. However, the father and son duo hadn't made an appearance together after Kalidas became a leading actor. According to reports, Kalidas's last release in the Malayalam film industry was 'Happy Sardar'. The young actor was seen playing the title role in this movie that also had Bollywood actor Javed Jaffrey. 

Vijay and his fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the much-anticipated 'Master', which would be hitting big screens on January 13 during the Pongal festival. The movie is bankrolled by XB Film Creators and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. While Vijay will be playing a lead role, Malavika Mohanan will be playing a female lead, and Vijay Sethupathi, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, and Gauri Kishan will be playing the important roles and Anirudh has composed the music.
