When the Lion meets the Beast...It's reunion of MS Dhoni and Vijay for the first time in a decade: Pics go super viral!

Icons won't meet in public regularly and when such a phenomenon occurs, fans would go super crazy and social media would be struck with the storm of pictures with the fans celebrating the relishing meet in a fashion of cherishing the memory and the treat. It was such a treat for the fans and thanks to Chennai for hosting the meet of legendary icons MS Dhoni and Vijay. The meeting of Thala and Thalapathy, as the fans call them respectively, has made people awe-struck across and beyond the borders, as they had exchanged greetings for the first time in years. 

What else do the fans need to make it memorable? Ever since the pictures from the meet were posted on social media, they have been going super viral as both the legends were adorable and were seen having a candid conversation in what looks like a caravan. The meet was made possible by the shoot and of course by the time. MS Dhoni and Vijay have arrived at the Gokulam Studios for the shoot. While Vijay was shooting for the upcoming movie 'Beast', Dhoni was there for an advertisement shooting and the legendary cricketer came to know that actor Vijay is in a neighbouring set, Dhoni has decided to meet him. 

Dhoni was seen wearing a Blue t-shirt while Vijay was in denim-ed attire. According to reports, they exchanged greetings and hugged each other and enjoyed a tete-a-tete meeting inside the vanity van. The pictures of their meeting were shared on social media and became the talk of the town with millions of fans celebrating the Thala Thalapathy meet. It must be noted that Vijay and MS Dhoni share a great rapport between them and they became caring friends when Vijay was appointed as the brand ambassador of the Chennai Super Kings. Vijay was appointed to this post in 2008 and he met Dhoni for the first time in 2008 and both had worn the jerseys of Chennai Super Kings.

Vijay and Dhoni had now met for the first time in a decade, which mileaged the celebrations of the fans. Several fraternities and notable people are also sharing the pictures of MS Dhoni and Vijay's meet as the reunion was in the fashion of celebrating their friendship. MS Dhoni is one of the greatest Indian captains of all time and he was the doyen of Indian sports history and led the team that successfully won global trophies. Dhoni is also the captain of the Chennai Super Kings and he was last seen during the 14th edition of the IPL. Chennai Super Kings finished second in the points table in the 2021 IPL season when the tournament was suspended in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. 

It has been reported that Dhoni and the Chennai Super Kings team will be leaving for the UAE this week to resume the IPL 2021 season in the Arab country. On the other hand, actor Vijay is currently shooting for 'Beast'. Bankrolled by Sun Pictures, the Beast is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. While Vijay plays the lead role, Pooja Hegde plays the female lead and Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Aparna Das, and Shine Tom Chacko are playing in the important roles. The movie has recently resumed the third schedule of the shooting and progressing at a steady pace towards the conclusion. Vijay was last seen in Master directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
