Watch: Puneeth Rajkumar's 'James' teaser is out...Fans go emotional as they await Appu's last movie!

The ardent fans of late actor Puneeth Rajkumar had gone emotional on Friday - February 11 after the release of the teaser of the actor's much-awaited movie 'James'. Though the teaser looks promising, it was a sad moment for the fans as James will be the last movie of Puneeth, who demised last year at the age of 46. His untimely departure had broken millions of hearts and become a distressing loss of the Indian cinema industry. 

The teaser of James was unveiled by Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar and it shows the Power Star of the Sandalwood in a new avatar. The movie is all set to get released on March 17 on Puneeth's birth anniversary in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Hindi. The teaser runs for over a minute and starts with an online "Emotions are bigger than business."  

The action-packed teaser displays a rivalry between the gangsters and how Puneeth Rajkumar, who works as a manager in a security company, takes on them. As the film marks Puneeth's posthumous appearance, the teaser has drawn major attention from the fans as they count the days to relish their favourite star on the big screens amid remembering him. 

The teaser has suggested that the movie cast a strong message while a clash between good and evil and it also carries the references of the dark market and world mafia. This would be the perfect treat to the fans on Puneeth's first birth anniversary after his death. Most importantly, Puneeth Rajkumar's brothers Raghavendra Rajkumar and Shiva Rajkumar had acted in the movie James. 

This would be the first time where the brothers share screen space. Being made as an action masala movie, James is bankrolled by Kishore Pathikonda under the banner Kishore Productions and it is directed by Chethan Kumar. While Puneeth Rajkumar plays the lead role, Priya Anand, Anu Prabhakar, Srikanth, Sarathkumar, Mukesh Rishi, and Aditya Menon play important roles. 

Charan Raj has composed the music and recently, visuals were rampant where Puneeth's brother Shiva Rajkumar was giving dubbing for the late actor in the character of Santhosh Kumar. The teaser has received a massive reception across and beyond the borders and within a short span of time, it has garnered over three million views. Several fans expressed their emotions through reacting to the teaser and some of them had said that they can't hold the tears and they will watch the movie, which is the only tribute they can give to the legendary actor.
