Watch: 'I'm not a politician, I'm a soldier'...Trailer of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Beast' is finally here!

The hours of wait have finally come to an end as the trailer of Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming movie 'Beast' is out on Saturday- April 2 and opened to the celebrations from the ardent fans of the actor as they relish spectating the trailer amid counting days for the movie release. Beast has been slated for theatrical release on April 13 worldwide. 

The trailer, which runs close to three minutes, reveals the plot of Beast and Vijay is playing the role of spy and the story revolves around how he would be rescuing the people who were held as hostages by the terrorists at a mall in ECR. The trailer has been made with the ingredients that pour more curiosity to the fans and within minutes' time, it has won a good reception from across and beyond the borders. 

Interestingly, director Selvaraghavan, who plays a crucial role in Beast, appears as a negotiator between the government and terrorists while he was predicted to be an antagonist. For the first time in the history of Indian cinema, Beast's trailer was also released on the big screens as per the schedule. While it was released on Youtube, the trailer has also hit mega screens including PVR and IMAX.

The ardent fans of Vijay had stormed several theatres in Chennai to watch the trailer on the big screens and similar events were also witnessed in Coimbatore and several parts of Tamil Nadu. Ahead of the trailer release, the fans had held massive celebrations in front of the theatres. The fans had held the banners of Vijay as they expressed their love for the actor and eagerness to watch the movie. 

Sun Pictures, which bankrolls 'Beast', took to Twitter and released the trailer at 6 pm on Saturday. It wrote, "The much-awaited Beast trailer is here." In five minutes of release, the trailer has garnered over one million views, which showcased the scale of wait for the trailer. By the time of writing this content, the trailer has got over 2.1 million views and counting. Actor Vijay has also shared the trailer on his official Twitter page.

Beast director Nelson Dilipkumar shared the trailer and wrote, "Here it is". Music composer Anirudh wrote, "Meaner, leaner, and stronger...Can you feel the power, terror, fire." While Vijay plays the lead role in Beast, Pooja Hegde, Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, John Vijay, VTV Ganesh, Aparna Das, and Redin Kingsley play important roles. In line with the posters, singles, and crew, the trailer has fueled the expectations to watch the phenomenal Vijay in the promising directorial of Nelson Dilipkumar.
