Communism, Leninism, and Socialism...In common terms, these are the ideologies but in the Salem district of Tamil Nadu, these are the names of three siblings and it's the wedding week for Socialism, the third sibling of the family, who is going to tie the knot with Mamata Banerjee. Yes, the groom is Mamata Banerjee, who belongs to the same village in Salem. 

The marriage invite has been going viral on social media and they will be tying the knot on June 13 with drizzles of wishes from relatives and the rains of blessings from social media. The wedding will be taking place in the presence of Communism and Leninism, the brothers of the groom. Marxism, the grandson of the family will also be attending the wedding. The marriage invite has drawn major attention with several netizens are expressing their wishes to the betrothal couple. 

The father of three siblings is 52-year-old A Mohan, who is the Salem district secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI). He has decided to name his sons after the ideologies that he supports -Communism, Leninism, and Socialism. On the bride's side, the family members of Mamata Banerjee are Congress Supporters and Mohan's family couldn't have predicted that Socialism would be marrying Mamata Banerjee. 

The reports say that the bride's family is related to Mohan's family and lives in the same village. Mohan told the media that he had been active in politics since he was 18 years old. He had worked in the CPI alongside his father and grandfather and organized protests, and eventually decided to become a full-time member of the party. Mohan then rose to become the district secretary of CPI in Salem.

Mohan had previously contested on a People's Welfare Alliance ticket from the Veerapandi constituency in the 2016 assembly polls. On naming his children after the ideologies, Mohan said, "I was deeply anguished when people said Communism is dead after the Soviet Union was divided into many countries. I was unmarried at that time and I have decided to name my children reflecting my admiration for these ideologies."

Speaking to a news agency, Mohan said that his children have been involving with party work and have admired the political ideologies since an early age. While his first son, Communism is a lawyer, his other two sons Leninism and Socialism are running a silver anklet manufacturing unit. Amid their professions, the three siblings are continuing to his father's strong hands in party work. 

After the invite goes viral, Mohan has been receiving hundreds of calls to wish the couple. He said that he has been receiving hundreds of calls from across and beyond the border and the people are wishing the couple for marriage. According to the invitation, the wedding will be taking place at the groom's residence on Sunday and will be attended by R. Mutharasan, who is the Tamil Nadu state general secretary of the Communist Party of India.
