Lokesh Kanagaraj, the sensational director of the blockbuster films Kaithi and Vikram, has revealed his plans to make a full-fledged film with Suriya as Rolex, the negative character who made a brief appearance in Vikram. In a recent award event, Kanagaraj confirmed that he is planning a project with Suriya that would require approximately 150 days of shooting.
The two have previously reported to work together on film “Irumbu Thirai,” and it is now expected that the official announcement will be made next year on the same. He also added that he will definitely do a full fledged film with Suriya. The inspiring filmmaker is known for his intruging and action-packed films, and his recent directorial "Vikram" starring Kamal Hassan and Vijay Sethupathi was a blockbuster hit at the box office.
With his eye for detail and Suriya's impressive range as an actor, this upcoming project is sure to be one to watch out for. Fans of both Suriya and Kanagaraj are excited to see what they have in store for them. Suriya is currently wrapping up for Suriya42 with Siruthai Siva, and he will next to Vetrimaaran for Vaadivaasal and an untitled film with Sudha Kongara who gave the national winning hit, Soorarai Potru.
Meanwhile, Lokesh Kanagaraj has wrapped up the first schedule in Kashmir of his upcoming film ‘Leo’ with Vijay in the lead role, and the next schedule of the film will start soon in Chennai. The film, which is touted to be an action entertainer, also features Trisha, Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin and others in prominent roles. The director is also said to be making sequels to ‘Vikram’ and ‘Kaithi’, which featured Kamal Haasan and Karthi respectively in the lead roles.
