Lokesh Kanagaraj, the director who has delivered back-to-back blockbusters with Karthi, Kamal Haasan and Thalapathy Vijay, is all set to make his acting debut as a lead actor. Joining him in this venture is none other than the sensational music composer Anirudh Ravichander, who has also composed the music for Lokesh’s films.

The duo will be seen together in a film directed by the stunt master duo Anbariv, who have worked with Lokesh in his films like ‘Master’, ‘Vikram’ and ‘Leo’. The film is said to be an action thriller with a lot of twists and turns. The film is expected to go on floors soon after Lokesh wraps up his current project ‘Leo’, which stars Vijay in the lead role.

Lokesh Kanagaraj has already made a cameo appearance in his film ‘Master’, where he played a post-credit scene. He will also be seen in a small role in RJ Balaji’s upcoming film ‘Singapore Saloon’. Anirudh Ravichander, on the other hand, has lent his voice for many songs and has also appeared in a few music videos. However, this will be his first time acting in a full-fledged role.

The fans of Lokesh and Anirudh are eagerly waiting to see their favourite director and composer on the big screen. The film is expected to be a treat for the action lovers and the music lovers. The film is yet to be titled and the rest of the cast and crew details are awaited.

Meanwhile, Ratnakumar will helm a new film that Lokesh Kanagaraj will produce. Since signing on for a large number of Telugu and Hindi films in addition to his usual workload in Tamil, Anirudh is currently the crowded music composer. On other hand, Leo  is slated for release on October 19th this year.

The film is produced by Seven Screen Studios banner and has music by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing by Philomin Raj. The film is said to be a high-octane action entertainer where Vijay plays a ruthless gangster who takes on his enemies with his loyal team. The star-studded cast of LEO boasts big names like Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Priya Anand, Mysskin, Gautham Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas, Sandy, and many more, all coming together to create a cinematic masterpiece.
