A superhit Tamil movie which made the celebrated duo gets hooked and tie the knot and get into parenthood recently has celebrated its seventh anniversary. 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' is a successful and ceaseless movie in Tamil cinema helmed by Vignesh Shivan and with the triumph, he won huge popularity. 

Naanum Rowdy Dhaan stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara and after the movie, Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara got into a relationship. The star couple tied the knot earlier this year and became parents recently. The movie has now celebrated its seventh year of release and celebrating the occasion, Vignesh Shivan has shared a visual from the movie shoot and said that the movie has given him everything. 

Produced by actor Dhanush under his banner Wunderbar Films, and distributed by Lyca Productions, the film stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara, with Parthiepan, Raadhika Sarathkumar, RJ Balaji, and Anandaraj in supporting roles. The background score was composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Vignesh Shivan also thanked the actor Dhanush on this seventh anniversary. 

Sharing the video on Instagram, Vignesh Shivan wrote, "7 years of a happy experience:) the film, the work that gave me everything. Always grateful to Dhanush sir." Responding to the posts, one of the fans wrote, "Kadhambari a character more iconic than many heroines. This film has a special place in my heart." Another wishes the couple by saying, "I am proud of you bro...a lot of ppl dunno how tough yr journey was to reach heights...you walked every step with sincerity and truth, that's why god has blessed you with the best. God will bless you both & the 2 kutties with nothing but the best always..."

In line with Vignesh Shivan, Vijay Sethupathi has also shared the poster of the movie on its seventh anniversary and replying to his post, one of the fans wrote, "Never got bored of watching in Telugu and Tamil, how many ever times such a cute and beautiful movie". 

Nayanthara and director Vignesh Shivan began a relationship in 2015 after collaborating on the film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. On June 9, 2022, the couple wed in Mahabalipuram. The couple announced the surrogate delivery of their twins in October 2022. Naanum Rowdy Dhaan got released on October 21, 2015, and it centres Pondy Pandi (Vijay Sethupathi), a police inspector's son who gets involved in illicit activities.

He develops feelings for Kadhambari (Nayanthara), a deaf woman seeking revenge from ruthless gangster Killivalavan (Parthiban). Interestingly, before Nayanthara was cast, Lavanya Tripathi had been chosen to play the female lead role of a deaf girl. Nayanthara dubbed herself for the first time in Tamil as her character. George C. Williams was in charge of the cinematography, and A. Sreekar Prasad was in charge of the editing.
