Viral story: Rajinikanth to play a special role in his daughter's directorial...Check the crew and storyline!

After shelving a blockbuster hit of Ponniyin Selvan, Subaskaran's Lyca Productions is gearing up to bankroll its next big project, and this time, it is going to collaborate with Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwarya for the first time. Aishwarya is giving her directorial comeback through the movie titled "Laal Salaam" and the announcement concerning the project was made on Saturday - November 5. 

Interestingly, Superstar Rajinikanth will play a special role in Laal Salaam, which made the ardent Rajini fans bounce off the walls. On Saturday, Lyca Productions released the posters on social media and wrote, "#LalSalaam to everyone out there! We are extremely delighted to announce our next project, with the one & only Superstar Rajinikanth in a special appearance." 

As per the announcement, the movie will star Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles while legendary composer A R Rahman will compose the music. The announcement caught into the wave of virality as a sea of fans are sharing the posters rampantly. The posters suggest that Lal Salaam would be a movie that revolves around cricket as they feature after-battle effects where the cricket helmet burns in the fire. 

This Aishwarya Rajinikanth directorial will hit the screens in 2023 and she is known for her previous works in the movies '3' and 'Vai Raja Vai'. The famed star Rajinikanth has two projects with Lyca Productions, which were previously reported. The news was also confirmed by a well-known entertainment industry tracker who had previously shared it on Twitter. 

Additionally, he shared a picture of the veteran actor and the executives from the banner. On Twitter, he wrote: "Official: @LycaProductions has signed a two-movie deal with #Superstar @rajinikanth. The first movie's pooja will happen in a Grand manner on November 5th." Rajinikanth, who was most recently pictured in Siruthai Siva's Annaatthe, is currently centered on the movie Jailer, which is in the middle of production. 

Jailer is produced by Kalanithi Maran under his banner Sun Pictures and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Rajinikanth plays the lead role in the movie and supporting cast members include Shiva Rajkumar, Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, and Vinayakan. Jailer will be released in April 2023 and if everything goes according to the plan, the Superstar will give a double treat to millions of his fans through the back-to-back movies Lal Salaam and Jailer.
