Kollywood's leading actor Vijay gave a special surprise treat to his fans through a selfie with Rashmika Mandanna, the leading lady of the actor's upcoming flick 'Varisu'. The selfie has become a talk of the town and the fans are sharing it rapidly on social media.

In the selfie that she shared, the new and coolest pair flaunted their spectacular smile while taking a photo. Vijay and Rashmika play the leading roles in Varisu helmed by Vamshi Paidipally and the final wrap of the film is taking up in full swing. No need to brief Vijay's craze in South town, but the Pushpa actress has gained immense love and praise from her audience for her stunning acting skills and screen presence, through Geetha Govindam and Pushpa.

Rashmika joined hands with Vijay for the first time for her second Tamil movie 'Varisu' while the first being 'Sultan' starred by Karthi. It was released last year. According to the movie trackers, Varisu marked its 100th day of shooting on Wednesday and to celebrate the occasion, Rashmika took to Instagram and dropped an adorable selfie with Vijay. 

Sharing the snap, she captioned 'Varisu (with a heart emoji)'. Already, the pictures of them from the shooting ceremony of Varisu, where Rashmika shares a fangirl moment, went viral and won hearts, now this sensational selfie is getting huge love from the fans. Varisu is produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under their production company Sri Venkateswara Creations. 

The eagerly anticipated movie also features prominent cast members Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Sangeetha, and Samyuktha. Karthik Palani will be in charge of the film's cinematography, while Praveen K. L. will be in charge of its editing. While Thaman is composing the music, Prabhu Deva is taking care of the choreography. The movie, according to Dil Raju, was "family-centric" like the majority of Vijay's 1990s productions. Varisu is scheduled to get released during Pongal 2023.
