In a captivating revelation, the latest buzz from tinseltown discloses that Thalapathy Vijay is set to portray the role of a schoolboy in the upcoming film Thalapathy68, directed by Venkat Prabhu, marking a first in his illustrious 31-year cinema journey. The anticipation is soaring as the film employs cutting-edge de-ageing techniques to bring forth this never-before-seen look for the renowned actor.

There have been notable reports indicating that the upcoming film will incorporate a compelling political storyline. Thalapathy Vijay is rumored to undertake the challenging task of portraying two distinct characters in the movie—a father and his son. The speculation further suggests that Vijay, in the role of the father, will undergo a transformation using de-aging technology to portray a younger version of himself, a visual treat never witnessed in his extensive career.

The younger look of Vijay is anticipated to grace the screen for a brief but impactful duration, approximately ten minutes. Director Venkat Prabhu, committed to delivering to worthy, has invested a substantial sum of 6 crores to bring this cutting-edge technology to life.

The film's pooja launch video, released in October, officially marked the commencement of the project produced by AGS Entertainment and directed by Venkat Prabhu.
