Viral Buzz: Ponniyin Selvan 2 teaser to be released on this date! Here's what we know...

From Chiyaan Vikram to Trisha, the rest of the ensemble Chola cast warmly welcomed us to the land of the Cholas on September 30th, 2022, last year where the rest of the story will be told by April 28th, 2023. Despite the fact that the remaining post-production phases of retouching and dubbing portions are currently in the swifting phase, a new exciting buzz on  Maniratnam's epic Ponniyin Selvan 2 teaser is making the rounds on internet.

The most recent rumour in the town claims that the Ponniyin Selvan 2 official teaser will be released on March 1st, 2023. And Kollywood insiders' talk also reports that after the tremendous reach of the first part's promotional efforts from the film cast, the entire star cast has agreed to devote their entire April dates to the film's promotions for the second film in the series.

The film's production banner also took to Twitter and recently shared the exciting deet that the Ponniyin Selvan 2 will be out in 100 days. They shared a teasing video by writing, "The throne. The vengeance. The love. The war. Witness it all, in 100 days! Mark your calendars - #PS2 releasing worldwide on April 28th". The magnum opus has Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Prakash Raj, Jayaram, Ashwin Kakamanu, Sarathkumar, Parthiban, Rahman, Shobita Dhulipala, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Kishore, Nasser, Riyaz Khan, Jayapradha, Mohan Ram in th supporting leads.

PS: 1 detailed the beginning of the conflict over the progression to the Chola throne, which is the beginning of the epic saga that is based on Kalki Krishnamurthy's novel from 1955. AR Rahman composed for the music, Sreekar Prasad was in charge of editing, Ravi Varman was in charge of cinematography, Thotta Tharani was in charge of production design, while Jeyamohan was in charge of dialogue, Eka Lakhani was in charge of costumes, Vikram Gaikwad for makeup, and master Brinda taken care of choreography.

Ponniyin Selvan is bankrolled by Subaskaran's Lyca Productions and Mani Ratnam's Madras Talkies. Directed by Mani Ratnam, 'Ponniyin Selvan' has been planned to be released in two parts, and the first part is gearing up to release, while the second part is expected to arrive in Summer 2023. The history of Cholas needed a whopping 500 crores budget to make it to the screens.
