The shooting dates have been locked for Ajith Kumar's AK62 with Vignesh Shivan as it will start on floors in the third week of February as per reports. The combo is fresh for both and for the fans, Now the next after this feature also to have a fresh combo, as the director will join with this ultimate for the first time as per buzz. Success for Ajith Kumar's latest film, Thunivu, has him on a roll. The film's commercial success can be directly attributed to its stellar performance in the box office.

With the release of Thunivu quickly approaching, Ajith Kumar is taking some time off to relax in Europe before getting back to work on the film's pre-production. The latest buzz on the internet has the actor signing on for another film with the director of Jawan following his success with AK62. AR Rahman is rumoured to be composing the score, which will be bankrolled by Lyca Productions.

There have been rumours circulating online that director Shiva, Vishnurvarthan, or Telugu director Sukumar could work on AK63. But they haven't made any sort of official announcement about it. With Shah Rukh Khan, Atlee is making his first appearance on the Hindi belt in the film Jawan and he is currently busy with the production. It's scheduled for a June 2023 debut in theatres. AK62 will be shot in various locations of North India, and Hyderabad and will also fly to a foreign country for an outdoor shoot.

The team will also hold a pooja ceremony in the first week of February, right before they start shooting. A top Hollywood stunt choreographer is reportedly in talks with the producers to create the film's action sequences. The film, which is being billed as an action thriller, will also feature a compelling love story and some lighthearted moments. Santhanam and Arjun Das will play pivotal roles in the project, with veteran actor Arvind Swamy playing the main antagonist. Lyca Productions is bankrolling Vignesh Shivan's massive undertaking, and Anirudh is providing the musical score.
