Kollywood's Thalapathy Vijay is getting close to rule the industry by becoming the highest-paid actor of the South Film Industry, beating superstar Rajinikanth's salary package as the development about the 'WOW' package for Vijay for Thalapathy 66 has relished the ardent fans of the actor, who is growing in an unstoppable scale, with rising stardom across and beyond the borders. The fans await an official announcement about the salary package to celebrate the astonishing feat. 

Vijay was last seen in Master for which he received Rs 80 crore as the salary package and he is currently acting in 'Beast' directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. As the Beast is in the third and final schedule of shooting, the reports say that Vijay has confirmed his next project, which has been tentatively named Thalapathy 66, and confirmed that the movie will be directed by Tollywood director Vamshi Paidapally and bankrolled by prominent Telugu producer Dil Raju and the actor's salary package would leave you in shock and awestruck. 

The reports are suggesting that Vijay will get more than Rs 100 crore as salary for Thalapathy 66 and he may beat the record of superstar Rajinikanth and would become the highest-paid actor in South India. It has been reported that he may receive a salary of Rs 120 crore for Thalapathy 66, surpassing Rajini's salary of Rs 118 crore, which he bought for Darbar. If it becomes official, Vijay will be elevated to a stage where he would be ruling the industry with the tag of the highest-paid actor.

If the movie gets succeeds, Vijay would be piling up his revenue in his upcoming movies and it would be of no surprise whether he asks over Rs 120 crore as salary for his future movies. Producer Dil Raju, who will be bankrolling Thalapathy 66 under the banner of Sri Venkateshwara Cine Creations, has agreed to pay Rs 120 crore salary to Vijay as his going to work with the Telugu director for the first time. It has also been reported that Vijay will get on the floors of Thalapathy 66 immediately after completing the shooting of Beast.

Vijay is currently in the shooting of Beast in Chennai and the shooting has been progressing at a steady pace, giving the predictions that the movie will be released within this year. While Beast is produced by Kalanithi Maran under his own banner of Sun Pictures, the movie is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. While Vijay plays the lead role, Pooja Hedge is playing the female lead in the movie, and the movie will be having three antagonists against Vijay and one of them is expected to be prominent director Selvaraghavan. Anirudh is composing the music for Beast.
