South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) is back in the limelight after years of being behind the screen in wake of the lockdown. SIIMA has been regarded as one of the biggest film festivals in India in which the artistic and technical achievements of the South Indian Film industry are rewarded in various categories like best movies, best actors, and best music directors. The nominees for the SIIMA 2019 and 2020 have been announced on Saturday under various categories for all four South Indian languages - Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada. 

According to reports, the ninth edition of SIIMA will be held in Hyderabad on September 18 and 19 and the ceremony will have a pile of tasks in honouring the artists and movies that were released in 2019 and 2020. For the first time since its inception, the SIIMA ceremony was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic and the preparations are now began to conduct the ceremony and to reward the best pictures in four languages in the past two years. The ceremony will host a cluster of stars and let's take a look at the nominations of all four languages.

Best Actor Male- Tamil: 

2019: Vijay for 'Bigil', Ajith for 'Viswasam', Karthi for 'Kaithi', Dhanush for 'Asuran', Vijay Sethupathi for 'Super Deluxe', and Siva Karthikeyan for 'Namma Veettu Pillai'. 2020: Suriya for 'Soorarai Pottru', Dhanush for 'Pattas', Dulquer Salmaan for 'Kannum Kannum Kollayadithaal', Udhayanidhi Stalin for 'Psycho', Ashok Selvan for 'Oh My Kadavule', and RJ Balaji for 'Mookuthi Amman'. 

Best Actor Male - Telugu:
