Viduthalai audio and trailer launch date is here! Makers share the announcement

In what comes as an exciting piece of news for Tamil cinema fans, the team of Vetrimaran's highly anticipated movie, Viduthalai, has announced the date for the audio and trailer launch event. The much-awaited event is set to take place on March 8 and will be a grand affair, as per the announcement made by the production banner. 

Taking to Twitter on Friday Red Giant movies, shared the audio and trailer debut date by writing "IT’S 8️⃣ MARCH - Save the date & get ready for Director #VetriMaaran’s #ViduthalaiPart1 audio and trailer launch. Coming soon in theatres." The team is all set to release Viduthalai 1 on March 31, making it a highly awaited movie among fans and film enthusiasts alike.

Viduthalai boasts of an impressive star cast, including the likes of Soori, Vijay Sethupathi, Bhavani Sre, Prakash Raj, Gautham Menon, Chethan, and several others. Soori plays the role of a cop, while Vijay Sethupathi portrays a teacher in this high-octane action thriller.

The movie is based on the critically acclaimed short story, 'Thunaivan', written by renowned author Jeyamohan. The legendary Ilaiyaraaja has composed music for the film, adding an extra layer of elation among admirers. The film's cinematography has been handled by R Velraj and editing has been done by R Ramar. While Peter Hein has choreographed the stunt sequences, art direction is by Jacki.

The distribution is being handled by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies. While Viduthalai is bankrolled by Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment, Kalaingar Tv bought the TV satelight rights, Zee5 bagged the OTT streming rights. Interestingly, the entire movie was shot on an iPhone, which is used to reduce production costs, is another anticipating element to look out for the venture on big screens.
