Venkat Prabhu, the versatile director who has given us some of the most innovative and entertaining films in Tamil cinema, has teased his fans with a cryptic poster on his social media handles. The poster shows several old television sets displaying the tags of his previous films, such as “A Venkat Prabhu Politics”, “A Venkat Prabhu Game”, “A Venkat Prabhu Party” and so on.

But the most intriguing part is the topmost TV set, which has a white heart and the words “A Venkat Prabhu ???”. Venkat Prabhu has captioned the poster with “So what’s next? Wait till tomorrow at 11 a.m.” This has sparked a lot of curiosity and speculation among his followers and film buffs, who are wondering if this is a hint about his upcoming project with ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay, tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 68’.

The film, which will be produced by AGS Entertainment as their 25th venture, was officially announced in May this year, with Yuvan Shankar Raja as the music composer. The film is expected to be a grand entertainer that will cater to all sections of the audience and will be released in 2024.

However, some are also guessing that this could be a different project that Venkat Prabhu is planning to make before or after ‘Thalapathy 68’. The director is known for experimenting with different genres and themes in his films, such as horror comedy (Massu Engira Masilamani), sports drama (Chennai 28), heist thriller (Mankatha) and political satire (Sarkar).

His latest release was ‘Custody’, a bilingual film starring Naga Chaitanya, which mixed positive reviews from critics and audiences. He also has ‘Party’, a multi-starrer comedy film, which has been delayed for several years due to various reasons.

Whatever the case may be, Venkat Prabhu has surely created a buzz with his mysterious poster and has left his fans eagerly waiting for the big reveal tomorrow at 11 a.m. Will it be about ‘Thalapathy 68’ or something else?  Fans to wait and look with anticipation for the big revelation on his next announcement.
