Vadivelu's 'Naai Sekar Returns' first single is top trending...Check out its massive reach!

The first single from Vaigai Puyal Vadivel starred 'Naai Sekar Returns' is currently ranked third on YouTube's trending list less than 24 hours after its release. On Monday evening, the makers amused everyone by releasing not just the lyric video but the entire song as well. 

The song Appatha, which features the voice of Vaigai Puyal, has garnered over 5 million views and has rapidly become a top pick of the fan base. Lyca Productions is bankrolling Naai Sekar Returns, and on Monday, the production company made the surprising announcement by releasing the first single with a full video version. 

The choreography for the full video song was handled by Prabhu deva, and it features only jazzy chords mixed with Vadivelu's signature quirky raps, which makes the buffs keep their arc of smiles from start to end of the song. Lyca Productions on Tuesday took to Twitter, shared the current status of the song, by writing, " Million+ views in no time  for our Dindigul Drake's #Appatha". 

With lyrics of Durai and Asal Kolar, the song became an instant hit as fans listening to it from the voice of Vadivel after very long time. One of the fan commented, "Evergreen Prabhu Deva and Vadivelu combo". By the time of writing this content, the song has gained over 5.2 million views on YouTube. Santhosh Narayanan composes the music for the movie and Vignesh Vasu handles the cinematography and Selva R K took charge of the editing. 

While Vadivelu plays the lead role in the movie, Sivaangi Krishnakumar, Redin Kingsley, Shivani Narayanan, Anandraj, Munishkanth, and Lollu Sabha Seshu will play key roles. Naai Sekar Returns is directed by Suraj and the spin-off character was from Sundar C starred film, Thalai Nagaram, which was released in 2006 in which Vadivelu plays the role of 'Naai Sekar'.
