The mother of veteran comedian, actor, and singer Vadivelu, Sarojini, died last night from illness. She was 87 years old, according to the reports, and had been admitted to a private hospital for the past few days, where she was being treated for an illness related to aging. Vadivelu, whose real name is Kumaravadivel Natarajan, was last seen in "Naai Sekar Returns," which was a spin-off of his role in "Thalai Nagaram."

The actor reported the unfortunate loss to media, he said, "After receiving treatment at Apollo Hospital, she was on the path to recovery and had returned home for the Pongal celebrations when her phlegmatic condition in her lungs suddenly worsened and her pulse rate dropped low," Sadly, he added that she caused no harm to anyone and went after enjoying the Pongal festival with some cows and goats.

Speaking to media, Vadivelu also shared that many senior politicians, including the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, MK Stalin, expressed their condolences following her mother's passing. His father Natraj already died at an early age. Despite reaching various heights in Tamil cinema, his family lives in Madurai. Vadivelu has 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin shared his condolence message, he said, "I am deeply saddened to hear the news of Sarojini Ammal (a) Paapa's death in Viraganur, Madurai. The death of a mother is absolutely an irreparable loss to any son. My deepest condolences to 'Vaikai Puyal' Vadivelu and his family"

Her passing has left everyone in the family in a state of mourning. She had been receiving treatment at the hospital for the past four days due to his illness befores he passed away at eight o'clock last night on Wednesday. Tamil State Congress Party President G. K. Vasan, B.A.M.K, M.K. Alagiri and GK Mani and screen celebrities are offering their condolences over the phone. Currently, Vadivelu's mother and her relatives are regularly visiting the house and paying their respects to Sarojini.
