Turning heads from across and beyond the borders, the ardent fans of Vijay are following the footsteps of Ajith fans in asking for the movie update. It is knowable how Ajith fans had drawn attention in chasing the updates for the actor's recently released movie 'Valimai'. The production team of Valimai had poured lights only on the movie name and the crew and kept the developments behind the screens. 

Several fans had stormed the social media demanding Valimai's team to release the movie update. However, as the production team kept the updates locked, the desperate fans had begun asking the movie updates to the political leaders and cricket players. An Ajith fan even held a placard asking Valimai update on a football match held in Europe. After these episodes, Ajith had said that these actions had upset him and appealed to the fans to refrain from asking for updates. 

Later, the production house has unveiled updates at regular intervals and after several deferments, Valimai hit the big screens last month and is running successfully at the box office, despite the mixed reviews. Now, as Vijay fans wait for the update from the actor's upcoming movie 'Beast', they are now following Ajith fans in asking for the updates. Beast has been nearing its movie release and it has been expected that it will hit the theatres on April 14, 2022.

Earlier, the Beast team has made an official announcement that the movie is slated for release in April. However, apart from the first single 'Arabic Kuthu', no major update was unveiled, sparking the wave of speculations on social media. The silence of the movie team has made room for various predictions with several social media users unofficially claiming that the Beast's audio launch will be held on March 20. As the movie team is yet to open up, the Vijay fans have now taken the prospect of an Indian cricket match to ask for updates from the players. 

Indian Cricket Team has been playing Test series against Sri Lanka and the teams were playing the match on March 13 in Bengaluru. During the match, a Vijay fan was heard asking for a Beast update from Indian bowler Mohammed Shami. The video of this incident was widely shared on social media and turned heads as the Beast team is facing a demand to release the movie update.

Beast is bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran under his own banner of Sun Pictures and is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. While Vijay plays the lead role, Pooja Hegde, Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, John Vijay, VTV Ganesh, Aparna Das, and Sathish Krishnan play important roles. Anirudh has composed the music and the movie is currently in its post-production works.
