Trisha's next Raangi Trailer is out... Don't miss the surprising action treat from the actress!

After lapping up the accolades for Ponniyin Selvan 1, South Queen Trisha reclaimed her fan base and signed on for some intriguing new projects. The trailer for her upcoming film Rangi has just been released, and it shows the actress in a wholly new actioner. Interestingly, the film story has been penned by popular filmmaker A R Murugadoss.

The action packed 'Raangi' trailer showcases another facet of Trisha where she performs some cool stunts as well. Director M. Saravanan promising a refreshing comeback after Engeyum Eppodhum, which gained critical acclaims. Produced by Subaskaran under his banner Lyca Productions, and presented by Sun Pictures, the film is to hit theatres by December 30th, clashing with Prabhu Solomon's Sembi starring Kovai Sarala.

Sharing the exciting trailer on Friday , Lyca Productions wrote "Presenting the action packed TRAILER of #RAANGI Releasing in theatres on Dec 30  #RaangiFromDec30". The one minute more trailer featured the powerful actress risking her life for serious duty, where the trailer began with invasion force expelling children from their homes and a bomb going off shortly after. Raangi promising to be an exciting one that will take its audience on a roller coaster ride of action and suspense.

The score was composed by C Sathya, and the film was shot and edited by Shakthi and Subarak. With choreography by Raja Sekar, the film features exciting action set pieces. Trisha's most recent film appearance was in Ponniyin Selvan 1 by Mani Ratnam. In the historical drama, she portrayed Princess Kundavai. Her future projects include, The Road and the debut of her first web series Brinda.
