The trailer as per announced debuted by the makers in the evening hours of Wednesday and it is a huge treat for the fans, featuring the ideal balance of family-friendly elements and Thalapathy's trademark action. The movie's trailer had already surpassed 3.1 Million views by the time of writing this content. Varisu helmed by Vamshi Paidipally and slated to hit theatres on 12th January 2023.
Varisu marks the first collaboration of Thalapathy Vijay and Vamshi Paidipally. The film boasts a huge star cast including Vijay, Rashmika Mandanna, Prakash Raj, Prabhu, SJ Suryah, Jayasudha and several others. As per announced, the production hose Sri Venkateswara Creations dropped the trailer on Wednesday evening at 5PM, by writing, "THE BOSS has arrived #VarisuTrailer feast is here nanba", where the trailer presented by Sun TV.
The two and half minute trailer widens with the actor's family who leads with joint family, as veteran actress Jayasudha's line from the begining, "A house is just made of stones and Mortar." emphasizing the bonding of family love. By the trailer it's versed that Vijay plays the youngest son of Sarath Kumar and Jayasudha, where Telugu actor Srikanth Meka and Tamil actor Shyam will be seen as Vijay's brothers in the film.
The trailer teases a full-fledged family drama in which the actor indirectly shoulders the role of the servile son. And at the earlier audio launch, Prakash Raj plays the main antagonist in the movie as Vijay and Prakash Raj's on-screen combat in Ghilli was so fashionable in the trend since. Powerful dialogues from the trailer like, "Man of the match", and "Power is not in the seat, it's on the man who occupies the chair", promising to ensure the claps in the screen.
Producer Dil Raju, in an earlier interview, revealed that Varisu will remind us of 1990s Vijay. Mentioning Vijay's films like Poove Unakaga. Pertinent to note that in a media interaction, Srikanth revealed that he will have emotional scenes with Thalapathy in the film. And this is his first trilingual venture for Vijay, as the film to release in Telugu as Vaarisudu, 'Vaaris' in Hindi. Vaarisu to officially clash with Ajith's Thunivu, helmed by H.Vinoth.
