In a recent development, the deleted scene from the hit movie, Varisu, which stars Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role has been dropped. The film Varisu helmed by Vamshi Paidipally of Thozha fame, bankrolled by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film debuted on 12th January 2023, and made its OTT debut on Prime Video recently.
Taking to Twitter, Amazon Prime Video shared the four-minute long video by writing, "there you go! an exclusive unseen footage from #VarisuOnPrime to pump up your adrenaline!" The deleted scene features a fiery confrontation between Vijay and the veteran actor Prakash Raj. In the beginning, Vijay seems to be at a downside, but as the scene progresses, he unleashes his signature witty style ultimately outsmarting his opponent.
And the scene gave a resemblance to the Ghilli famous scene where they both delivered a top-notch performance. With the release of these deleted scene, the devotees witnessed more of Thalapathy Vijay's captivating performance as they awed and saying, "it shouldn't have be deleted" and "This should have been added, with some minimal trimming.. Looks good actually." While Prime Video bought the OTT streaming rights, sattelite rights bought by Sun TV.
Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, Varisu is a complete family entertainer that boasts of an impressive star cast, which includes Rashmika Mandanna, Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Yogi Babu, Jayasudha, Sangeetha Krish, Shaam, Srikanth, and Samyuktha Shanmughanathan in pivotal roles. The Hindi version of Varisu will be premiered from 8 March 2023 as per reports.
Varisu, which hit the theaters on January 12th, 2023 in Tamil which also released in Hindi and Telugu with titles Vaaris and Vaarasudu, respectively. The movie garnered mixed to good reviews from the audience. Thaman has composed the music and KL Praveen and Karthik Palani have done editing and cinematography respectively.
