The wait is over for the fans, who have been eagerly anticipating the release of his upcoming movie, Maaveeran. The makers of the film have finally announced the trailer release date, along with a glimpse of a enticing shot. The trailer will be out on July 2 2023, while the film will hit the theatres on August 11, 2023.
Maaveeran is directed by Madonne Ashwin, who won the National Award for his debut film Mandela, a political satire starring Yogi Babu. The glimpse video featured the star who is submerging under the water, where he vents his rage with a fierce expression. The film also marks the debut of Aditi Shankar, daughter of director Shankar, as the female lead. The star cast also includes Mysskin, Saritha, Sunil and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. The film is said to be an action thriller with a social message.
Sivakarthikeyan reportedly plays a cartoonist who gets involved in a dangerous situation. The film’s music is composed by Bharath Shankar, while the cinematography is by Vidhu Ayyanna and editing by Philomin Raj. The makers have been releasing posters and songs from the film to create a buzz among the audience.
