Only a few days after receiving a flurry of updates from the Thunivu team regarding the first and second look posters, Vinoth's directorial garnered a major update on Monday relating to the movie's digital streaming. 

While fans expected the Zee studio to acquire the movie like Nerkonda Parvai and Valimai, this third feature in the subsequent collaboration is said to be bagged by the global OTT giant Netflix. Ajith was recently seen flying to Bangkok for the movie's final schedule. Thunivu is scheduled to wrap up filming by October 20, 2022, and a third look poster is anticipated for Diwali.

Thunivu is produced by Boney Kapoor under his banner Bayview Projects. According to reports, it is being developed as a bank heist thriller. While Netflix is said to have acquired the OTT rights of Thunivu, it has been reported that the satellite rights have been bought by Kalaignar TV. The reports say that the deal with Netflix has been sealed for a huge market price.

It has been speculated that Thunivu would lock horns with Vijay's 'Varisu' during Pongal 2023. However, the official confirmation over the release is expected to get unveiled after Diwali. The majority of Thunivu was shot in Chennai and Hyderabad.  The first and second look posters featuring Ajith in ultra cool avatar were released few days ago and received more than maximum reception among the buffs. They are next thriving for the official cast update, teaser and furthermore exciting updates.
