Thalapathy Vijay, the undisputed star is on a roll, and his star power is reaching stratospheric heights.While fans eagerly await the commencement of the film's shooting, scheduled for November, Vijay has his plate full with Lokesh Kanagaraj's much-anticipated 'Leo,' set to hit the screens on October 19. But the buzz surrounding 'Thalapathy68' is already becoming electric among fans.

In a sensational turn of events, Netflix has reportedly secured the streaming rights for Vijay's upcoming magnum opus, Thalapathy68, for an astronomical sum, setting a new record in the process. This audacious move by Netflix underscores the immense anticipation and excitement surrounding the project.

Thalapathy68 is set to be a cinematic spectacle with two leading ladies gracing the screen alongside Vijay, as he plays the dual roles, as per reports. The first among them is rumoured to be the talented Sneha, who previously shared the screen with Vijay in the heartwarming feel-good movie Vaseegara. Their on-screen chemistry was cherished by audiences, making this pairing a delightful reunion.

The identity of the second leading lady remains a closely guarded secret, adding an air of intrigue to the project. Speculations are rife that it could be Srinidhi Shetty. The film will also feature the Jai and other regulars from Prabhu's cinematic universe in pivotal roles.

AGS Entertainment backing the project and the musical genius Yuvan Shankar Raja composing the tunes. Recent rumor mill also claims that Aamir Khan, Madhavan, Prashanth and Prabhu Deva are said to be play for  major pivotal roles. However, an official announcement regarding the cast and crew is expected to out after the Leo release.
