Vijay's upcoming film Varisu is highly anticipated in the South. The film's title in both Tamil and Telugu, was initially announced. The film was shot in Tamil and dubbed in Telugu, and recently, producer Dil Raju confirmed the Hindi release as well.
If the Hindi version of Varisu is released, it will be Vijay's third film to play in theatres across the Hindi belt. Now the title of Vamshi Paidipally's upcoming Hindi remake of Varisu is surfacing on internet. According to reports, 'Vaaris' will be the name of the Hindi version of the film. However, there has been no official confirmation with this regard. Varisu goes with the name of 'Varasudu' in Telugu.
It's been speculating that the registration for the film in Hindi has been completed. Following the releases of Master and Beast, Varisu is Vijay's third film to get released in Hindi. Meanwhile, the production is moving along at a rapid clip, despite the fact that the Animal Welfare Association has served notice to the filmmakers for using five elephants without proper permits.
Kollywood sources say that at the end of December, the Chennai premiere of the film's soundtrack will be held. In the film, Rashmika Mandanna plays the role of Vijay's love interest. The film is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and stars an all-star cast including R Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Khushboo, Srikanth, Shaam, Yogi Babu, and Sangeetha Krish. The music composed by S Thaman.
The Vamshi Paidipally-helmed film is to have a special Pongal release in January 2023, squashing it spectacularly against Ajith starred Thunivu's for box office take. Sun TV has acquired the satellite rights, while Amazon Prime Video has secured the digital distribution rights. As a whole, these trades have netted Rs 115 crores for the Varisu markers. Moviegoers can anticipate box office receipts of around Rs 150 crore.
