Ponniyin Selvan is an evolving turn of Kollywood and into a never-before-seen encounter in the Indian film industry, as the periodic drama offered daily glimmerings inside the great dynasty and chola land through the eyes of legendary filmmaker Maniratnam's eyes. Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha and Aishwarya Lekshmi played the leads in this magnus opus.
The first film in the series dropped on September 30, 2022, and set a monumental benchmark; the sequel is scheduled for April 2023. Since the film's makers, Lyca Productions, announced the release date officially earlier, excitement has been building to finally see the conclusion to the Cholas' enthralling saga. Actor Parthiban has recently updated fans on the film's progress, confirming that post-production is indeed gaining momentum.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday morning, Parthiban posted a monochrome pic of himself standing behind the mic for dubbing task, and he penned teasingly, "Good morning 3rd persons! Based on Kalki Krishnamurthy's 1995 novel of the same name, Ponniyin Selvan is an epic historical action-adventure drama. The first segment focused on Arulmozhi Varman, a Chola prince, and his early life experiences. It has been announced that the sequel to Ponniyin Selvan will be released on April 28th, 2023. It will be available in five distinct languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
