Vignesh Shivan, who has delivered hit films like ‘Podaa Podi’, ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’, and ‘Thaanaa Serndha Koottam’, is known for his quirky and romantic comedy style. His upcoming film, tentatively titled ‘Wikki 6’, is said to be a science fiction romantic comedy that revolves around a young man who does time travel using his mobile phone for his love.

Now the tinseltown have a new exciting buzz as director Vignesh Shivan is all set to introduce a new star in his next film. According to film sources, the film team is in talks to cast late actress Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor opposite Pradeep Ranganathan. If this is confirmed, Janhvi Kapoor will make her debut in Tamil through this film.

Pradeep Ranganathan, who made his directorial debut with ‘Comali’ starring Jayam Ravi and Kajal Aggarwal, will be playing the lead role in ‘Wikki 6’. Pradeep has also impressed the audience with his acting skills in films like ‘Love Today.  He will be sharing screen space with Janhvi Kapoor, who has already made a mark in Bollywood with films like ‘Dhadak’, Mili, and ‘Good Luck Jerry’.

Janhvi Kapoor, who is the daughter of legendary actress Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, has expressed her admiration for Tamil star Nayanthara several times. She recently shared the trailer of Nayanthara’s upcoming film ‘Connect’ on her Instagram handle and wrote, "Can’t wait for this!!! @Wikkiofficial looks too good!".

It is reported that Nayanthara will also be playing a cameo role in ‘Wikki 6’ and will be seen as Pradeep’s love interest in the past. The film will be backed by Kamal Haasan's RKFI and will have music by Anirudh Ravichander.
