Movielovers have been eagerly awaiting the next project of Thala Ajith, and soon to be expected is an official update. Originally, the actor was to work with director Vignesh Shivan on his 62nd film, but those plans have changed, and Magizh Thirumeni is now enclosed to direct. The film's Muhurtha Pooja is claimed to have taken place in Chennai on Monday February 21 and expected to announce soon.

Now the latest talk in social media about AK62 is, the film will feature the talented actress Kajal Aggarwal in the female lead. This will be the second time that the duo will be sharing screen space together after their successful collaboration in the 2017 action-thriller Vivegam.

The duo's on-screen chemistry was much appreciated in Vivegam, and it will be interesting to see what they have in store for their fans this time around. Kajal Aggarwal is currently working for Kamal Hassan - Shankar's duo project Indian 2 and to be seen on next with Deekay's Karungaapiyam .

AK62, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, is still in the pre-production stage, but this casting announcement has already created a buzz among fans. The film is expected to be a high-octane action-packed thriller, in line with Ajith's previous films. As the actor is known for his dedication and hard work, Magizh Thirumeni known for gripping thrillers, fans are much eagerly anticipating another power-packed performance in this collaboration.

This tentatively titled film will be produced by Lyca Productions and  as of now, no other cast members have been announced, but the project is expected to go on floors soon. According to reliable sources, the film is expected to begin filming next month in March. Previously, it was reported that the filmmakers intend to officially announce the film with the title and that they are currently considering three potential titles, which will be confirmed with the official announcement.
