Actor Vijay is partnering on Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo, which is his bustling project at the moment. The actor is reportedly planning to reteam with the Theri director which will be backed by Sun Pictures banner, according to the latest revelations. Atlee and Vijay combo had already made magic on screens with three action dramas Theri, Bigil, and Mersal and it's the favorite duo of Kollywood. As per sources, Atlee will helm Vijay's next Thalapathy68 after he wrap up the Leo.
When Shah Rukh Khan's film Jawan is completed, According to reports, the film will begin production under director Atlee this year in September . The reports also says that this project will also be an action-packed drama like the previous ones. Sun Pictures is rumoured to be producing the film, but there hasn't been any confirmation as of yet.
According to a close source of the development's report with a popular media outlet says, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan shooting will get wrapped by March and then Atlee will start working on his next project. "Atlee has got the idea okay’ed from Thalapathy Vijay and also the producers. He will work towards locking the screenplay soon as the idea is to take the film on floors from September/October this year," says the source.
"The film will be Atlee’s next directorial after Jawan, which is present on the floors. While the idea is green-lit, the paperwork will happen only after the release of Jawan," The source further mentioned, "The film will most likely feature Thalapathy Vijay in lead, until and unless something terribly goes wrong on the casting front in the next few months." Thalapathy Vijay also have a cameo role in Jawan as per reports. The film will be released in June 2023.
