Thalapathy Vijay for more than three decades, the charismatic actor has captivated audiences with his remarkable performances across a wide range of roles and genres. Now, with his upcoming film 'Thalapathy 68', he is all set to dazzle us once again with his incredible acting prowess. 

The film, directed by Venkat Prabhu, is said to feature Vijay in dual roles, one of them being a negative character. To make the film more realistic and appealing, the makers have decided to use advanced 3D VFX technology for the face replacement and motion capture of the two Vijays.

For this purpose, the core team of ‘Thalapathy 68’ headed to Los Angeles, USA, for the 3D VFX Scan at the renowned Dimensional Imaging (DI4D) studio. The studio has worked on several Hollywood projects such as The Avengers, Blade Runner 2049, and The Irishman.

Venkat Prabhu took to his social media to share some exclusive photos of Thalapathy Vijay from the studio in LA. The photos show Vijay posing from behind sporting a cool avatar.  He simply wrote, "Welcome to the future!!! #Thalapathy68 @actorvijay @archanakalpathi".

The photos have gone viral on the internet, with fans expressing their excitement and curiosity about the film. They are eagerly waiting to see how Vijay will pull off the dual roles and what kind of story and action sequences will be in store for them.

‘Thalapathy 68’ is expected to be a grand spectacle with a huge budget and a stellar cast. The film's cast kept tight lipped, but reports are claiming that Jyothika may join as the female lead. The music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, who has collaborated with Vijay for Puthiya Geethai
