Thalaivar 171 Buzz: This prowess Bollywood iconic star to join Rajinikanth after Shah Rukh Khan opts out!

The upcoming film ‘Thalaivar 171’ is creating a lot of buzz in the Bollywood and Kollywood industries, as it features the legendary Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role. The film is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who has delivered the star-aligned blockbusters with Ulaganayagan, and Thalapathy Vijay in recent times.

The film is said to be an experimental and standalone project, which will showcase Rajinikanth in a never-seen-before avatar, as per the director. The film is produced by Sun Pictures, and it was officially announced by the makers. The film is expected to go on floors soon, and the fans eagerly await the official announcement of the cast and crew. 

The film has already roped in Sivakarthikeyan, one of the most popular and versatile actors in Tamil cinema, for an important role. Sivakarthikeyan is known for his devoted love for the Superstar. The film is also in talks with many other prominent stars from both Bollywood and Kollywood, to make it the biggest multistarrer ever.

The film team also approached some of the big names from various industries, including Mollywood megastars Mammootty, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. It will be a big collaboration if Mammootty joins the film, as the duo already worked together in Thalapathy in 1991, directed by Maniratnam.

The latest news is that Ranveer Singh, the flamboyant and energetic star of Bollywood, is interested in playing a cameo role in the film. Ranveer Singh is one of the most sought-after actors in Hindi cinema, and has delivered some of the most memorable and award-winning performances in films like ‘Padmaavat’, ‘Gully Boy’, and ‘Bajirao Mastani’.

However, the film also faced a setback recently, when Shah Rukh Khan, the King of Bollywood, turned down the offer to play a cameo role in the film. According to Pinkvilla, Lokesh Kanagaraj approached Shah Rukh Khan with a special role, but the superstar politely declined, saying that he has immense respect for Rajinikanth, but he does not want to do cameo roles anymore, as he has already done many. He also expressed his interest in doing a separate film with Lokesh Kanagaraj in the future.
